On the plus side, I seem to be in the grip of some kind of mad courseworking fever, I've actually decided what topics I want to study and have begun researching, even though they aren't in for whole weeks yet! Somebody get me a cold compress!
On the minus side, I seem to be coming down with a cold. Great. It's quite annoying because i feel absolutely fine, but every so often, at the worst possible moment, I sneeze, and everything within a mile radius of me becomes drenched in snot. It's a nasty, mucousy cold that just keeps creeping up on me when I least expect it. So... maybe keep away from me for a while? I dunno. And I certainly suggest no one touches this keyboard... I remember Alex talking about his cheap keyboard that's survived pints of water and stuff, well look's like this one may have to try and survive the Great Snot Shower of 2007. Yes I know I'm disgusting, I'll stop talking about snot now.
On the plus side, my hair's looked pretty good this week. The rest of me has been shite, but as long as the hair's good then all is fine in the world. Due to my recent body-unhappiness, I decided to join the uni gym. Going to the gym last time didnt work very well, I know, and I lost no weight and I felt evermore miserable for it. Nonetheless, I'm hoping my newly-motivated self will make it to this gym more than once every fortnight. Planning to restart playing badminton soon too, and I'm trying to eat more healthy (so don't offer me chocolate or cake, or chocolate cake - I may have to hurt you with my evil death glare) My induction's on monday so we'll see what happens after that.
On the negative side, I'm pretty poor. And this is no good thing, since I have 5 birthdays to buy for in the next 2 and a half months, plus Download tickets to buy, and the usual food and stuff. Oh well. Will I ever be anything less than poor? Looks like I'm gonna be poor for the next couple of years regardless of what I do. Life truly is a bitch. And looks like Download's going to be our only holiday again this year. Please god let it rain at least once this time...
On the plus side, I have my interview at Keele. I can't remember if I mentioned this last time, or if this is new... But yeah it's on the 5th March - just after we get back from York visiting lovely Lolly (yyyaaaayyyyy!!). So within the next month, I should have some idea how the rest of the year's gonna shape up... scary stuff.
On the negative side... Ah sod it, you get the idea, the past few weeks have been ups and downs and all over the shops. Will blog again when things stabilise and answers are recovered: Will I get into Keele? How often will I go to the gym? Will I manage to complete Globalisation coursework by teh end of this week? Can i persuade Ross to join us at Download? Does Gary think I'm weird or is he just trying to suss me out?? Stay Tuned...
